I received a lot of responses to the text messages I’ve sent out so far. I wanted to say thank you to all who replied with their support and encouragement!
What you see in the photo attached are some responses sent to me from people who are obviously not voting for me. They don’t really evoke feelings of inclusivity or joy (even if a few did make me laugh).
It makes me sad that our country is so divided that so many people seem to think that it’s ok to talk to their neighbors like this simply because they don’t agree with them. No matter what results come from this election, my personal goal is to work on being a better human to all the other humans in this world and, in doing so, I hope that will inspire others to do the same.
Today, as many of us will finally be casting our votes on this official Election Day of 2024, I am praying that We, The People, are able to choose representatives who really support and uphold the MN and US Constitutions!
Speaking of constitutions, there is an amendment to the MN Constitution on the ballot. For more info about the amendment on the ballot in MN: https://www.americanexperiment.org/eight-reasons-to-vote-against-the-lottery-amendment/
I will be voting NO on this amendment.
Polls are currently open in MN and will be open until 8pm. To find your polling place plug your info in at the MNSOS here: https://pollfinder.sos.mn.gov/
Thanks to all who have voted for me so far!
